This gallery was put togther from "Stedman's Surinam," by John Stedmen. Many of the images
were done by the famous 18C English Romantic poet and artist, William Blake, a staunch
opponentof the Slave trade, a friend of John Stedman, and other revolutionaries
such as Thomas Paine, and Mary Wollstonecraft, all activists.
