Z1:   Pareshram Khali, cop, is shot during a police shootout with a carload of armed men.

                    

    Y1: Mohamed Baksh (2nd from right), died.  X1: Gem Rodrigues, kidnapped    W1:  Overseas-based women, robbed. 

Y1:   Mohamed Baksh died after a group of bandits sprayed his home with bullets.

X1:  Gem Rodrigues (27) and her 6-yr-old son (Akeem), are kidnapped by 3-armed bandits on Woolford Ave.

W1:  Patsy Johnson (50), Pamela Wills (33) Omefa Cambridge (31), are all US/UK-based women on return trip to GT who, in a party of 6 people, are all held up/robbed by a group of bandits outside their home in East La Penitence.

                               

   V1: Rawle Thomas (cop), died           U2: Hilton Ng-Quan, shot.                U1: Claudette Ng-Quan (right), died.

V1:  Rawle Thomas, a policeman, died after being shot in an ambush on a police patrol in Linden. He is the fifth cop to be killed by criminals, and the third from ambush.

U1-U2: Claudette and Hilton Ng-Quan, are attacked by a group of at least 15 armed men. Both are shot; Ms. Quan (60) died.

 

                         

     R1:  Ramnauth Persaud, died.           S1: Monica Rodrigues, died         T1: Monica Bhagwandin and sons, beaten

T1:   Monica and Suresh Bhagwandin (and 4 sons) are beaten and robbed by five armed bandits who spared the life of Suresh  Bhagwandin (dad) after the children begged while kneeling.

S1:   Monica Rodrigues, is a small-time business owner who is tied, beaten, gagged, and strangled to death by bandits.

R1:   Ramnauth Persaud, is killed during a daytime robbery on a money exchange bureau (cambio) on Robb Street.

 
         

   Q1: Andrew Atwell (cop), died               P1:  Goldsmiths robbed.                   O1: Ramesh Persaud and wife, beaten.

 Q1:  Andrew Atwell, a policeman, died after two carloads of gunmen opened fire on the Alberttown Police station. He is the fourth cop to be killed by criminals.

P1:  A group of goldsmiths in G/town,  robbed by armed men.

O1:   Ramesh Persaud and his wife are attacked by armed gunmen less than 2 weeks after his brother and sister-in-law are killed. See M1-M3: (Ramdeo and Sita Persaud of Annandale).

                               
N1: Chetram Etwaroo, shot in the face, died.    N2: Sister and mother of Etwaroo upon hearing news of his death.

N1-2: Chetram Etwaroo, was the security guard at Jairam & Son store in Agricola, where three bandits walked up and shot him in the face. He died on the way to the hospital. He was killed 5 days after Sita and Ramdeo (above) were killed.

L1: Mark Sancho, is shot an killed in a drive by shooting. Police said the attack was part of a gang rivalry-affairs.
K1: Patrick Seebarran, a businessman, along with his wife, are beaten and robbed by 8 heavily armed men (gang of 5 included

                              

        J1: Policeman, Harry Kooseram, killed.                                              J2: His family mourns.

J1/J2: Detective sergeant, Harry Kooseram, is waited upon and shot 6 times as he leaves his home one morning in supposed retaliation for Buxtonian killed by the police

                                                      

               H1: . Businessman, Frank Saywack, beaten.                   G1: Gavin Sobers, shot and killed.

H1: Frank Saywack, a businessman, is beaten and robbed while he looks at test cricket. This is the second time in 12 months that he's robbed
G1: Gavin Sobers, is shot and killed in a house; assailant escapes).


                                                          


    F1:
Marcellene Basdeo, kidnapped.                                      F2: Ramjeet Ramphal, also kidnapped (with Basdeo).   

 F1-2:
Marcellene Basdeo and Ramjeet Ramphal are kidnapepd when Basdeo's car is seized by group of 5 bandits. They are bound and left in a Bel Air  home; fortunately, they set themselves free and excaped.

Leon Fraser, anti-crime cop killed by "group of 5" bandits.
    

E1: Top cop Leon Fraser is shot execution style in an obvious "setup" by the "gang of 5" bandits at Timehri. Died.

             
 

D1: Ramcharan Narine, beaten/robbed.       
    C1: Errol Butcher, shot in back and legs

D1: Ramcharan Narine, a businessman, is followed and beaten/robbe
C1: Errol Butcher, a businessman, is shot in a drive by shooting...he died later.                                       

                                       

B1: Vivikenand Parasram, grazed by bullet; his wife Jane (B2), is terrorised.          B3: Kampta Persaud, beaten by bandits.

B1-B4: The Parasrams' shop in Annandale were attacked and robbed, allegedly by the group of escaped prisoners, who were heavily armed. One shot narrowly missed the owner, Vivikenand, and Mr. Kampta Persaud, a customer, is beaten with a gun butt. The image below is of their staff members who were also terrorised by the bandits.

                             A1: Troy Williams, stabbed to death.                          A2: Roxanne Winfield, suffers brain damage.

A1: Troy Williams (23), prison officer, died after receiving stab wounds from one of 5 bandits who escaped from the Georgetown prison in February 2002.

A2: Roxanne Winfield (36), prison officer, is shot in the jaw by one of the aforementioned bandits; the bullet wound resulted in severe brain damage. She is in critical but stable condition in the hospital.
